The saying goes, "The best offense is a good defense" and that's right, unless you're Boise State, who juuuuuust squeaked by Nevada 69-67 last night. If you don't watch ESPN, you read that right: 69-67! It could be called "the game where both the buses carrying the teams' defenses must've broken down around Vegas and they decided to play Keno instead of showing up and playing football."
How does this relate to Donate Your Coke Codes? Well, it has something to do with Pop Tarts for breakfast this morning, 5 hours of sleep and a serious lack of creativity on Mondays.
OR it has to do with the sheer number of codes sent in over the weekend, which keep the points rising. That's what the Nevada/Boise State football game reminded me of. While we (me, you, the points) didn't break any of the records that the two NCAA teams did, we kept the points coming in and that's worth defending.
If you wanna help shuffle pass any 12/24-packs &/or 20oz'er codes to HelpAKid.
Thanks. And remember to keep smiling.
(side note)— Do you think the kickers, finally feeling like an integral part of the team (because they had to kick like 19 or 20 times each (counting PATs, FGs & kickoffs)), tried to ride up front on the bus with all the cooler offensive players? OR did they just sit in the middle next to second and third string kickers and the punter rubbing saddle soap into their soccer shoes to keep them soft and pliable?
