AD 50: What happens to people who take pictures with flash at Graceland.

Nah, just kidding. I tore some ligaments while bowling in Memphis, but it had nothing to do with Elvis' old digs.

It DID happened after a fun day clogging thru Graceland— 70s gaudy but also some great visuals to take in. I was in Memphis to chew the scenery (since I couldn't tour the actual hospital b/c I was sick) and check out the town. I did get to tour the Target House, which actually houses St. Jude patients and their families FOR FREE(on Target's dime, which is really generous)— which also makes our contributions look rag tag by comparison, but we're also not members of one of the largest Big Box brands out there.

So anyway, with my head full of cool memories and renewed belief in Karma, I hit the bowling lanes. And after a perfectly good strike, following a nice pick up spare, I jumped up in celebration and came down so unElvis-like the King woulda done a snarl lip cringe.

Result= Torn ligaments. And 2.5 hours wasted at The Med, a hospital in Memphis whose ER has no driveway, but rather two flights of steps.

So I'm all crutched up but still plugging along. Got a bunch of new code donations that hopefully will bump us into a higher prize bracket, although there's not much in the way of "expensive" prizes left in the MyCokeRewards coffers.

Regardless, thanks to everyone for helping out. My spirit is renewed, regardless of any injuries suffered in the pursuit of doing something good, and hopefully yours remains as strong.
